Expeditions FAQ
How much do expeditions cost?
Expeditions will cost a minimum of $300 and the premium expeditions will cost upwards of $800 (AUD). This will all depend on the expedition you choose, prices will be available once expeditions are confirmed early in 2010.
Do I have to go on an Expedition?
Yes, expeditions are one of the most memorable parts of the moot experience. On expeditions you will get to have fun and make a whole new group of friends so that when you come back to the moot site you will have more friends to have a great time with.
Do I get to choose which expedition I go on?
Yes! When you fill out your application on My Moot you will be asked to submit your preferences for which expedition you would like to go on. Expeditions will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis so get your preferences in as soon as possible to avoid missing out on what you want to do. Once all expeditions are finalised you will be told when you can start making your selections.
What happens if the first expedition I choose does not go ahead?
If you don’t get your first preference because the expedition doesn’t run or is full then you will get your next preference.
What do I need to bring for expeditions?
Each expedition will have its own requirements depending on the activities you will be undertaking. A list will be provided to you by your expedition leader who will contact you once expeditions are allocated. Some essentials though will be clothing and bedding for sure.
How do I find out more about an expedition?
If you would like to know more about an expedition then contact the expedition leader if they have been appointed or email activities@ozmoot.com with the expedition name in the subject heading.
